Implementation specific questions. General questions about SQL and databases.

Can SQLServer and MySQL (or Oracle, or Postgres) reside on the same server?
I'm investigating the potential of combining two seperate products for one solution (one is a Content Management Server, the other a web-based document management tool). The CMS is explicitly designed for use with SQLServer and IIS, the other is designed specifically for MySQL and either IIS or Apache.

Since we have an operational SQLServer, I'm curious to know; (1) if MySQL can be installed on the same server and, (2) if it is possible, what potential problems or special configurations are required to make it work?
